# Troubleshooting

Start with the first relevant error, rather than the last message in a long console log.

## Resource will not start

Check the folder structure, resource name, required dependencies, and start order against the product guide. Make sure the installed files are complete.

## Feature does not work

Check the documented permissions, configuration, framework requirements, and any required items or setup steps. Note whether the issue affects one player or everyone.

## Works on one server but not another

Compare dependency versions, configuration, filename case, and other resources controlling the same feature. Make one change at a time.

## Performance problem

Record what was happening, how many players were involved, and which measurement tool you used. Include a short capture if practical. Do not disable unrelated protections to troubleshoot a resource.
