# Before installing

Every resource has its own requirements. Check its product guide before adding it to your server; this general guide does not replace product-specific instructions.

## Check the product guide

Confirm the supported framework, required dependencies and versions, installation order, and any game-build or server-artifact requirements. Do not assume a resource supports your framework just because another Tweak5M release does.

Some resources may require inventory items, database changes, map settings, or additional assets. Only apply changes included in that resource’s instructions.

## Prepare your server

Use a test server where possible. Back up the current resource, configuration, and any affected database before installing or updating. Keep a working rollback copy.

Check for another resource that controls the same feature. Conflicting scripts or duplicate copies can cause errors even when both work separately.

## Performance and compatibility

Measured results and tested environments belong in each product guide. No universal resource timing or framework compatibility is promised.
