# Usage & controls

Use a Chest Bags inventory item to open its interaction menu.

* **Wear / Remove:** attach the chest bag or remove its visible prop. Removing it keeps the inventory item and saved contents.
* **Hold Straps:** manually select the straps pose while wearing it.
* **X:** release Hold Straps into normal chest wear. The binding is configurable and may overlap with an external emote key.
* **Small / large pockets:** open the independent compartments from the menu while worn.

There is **no hand carry, Place on Ground, move or ground pickup mode** for chest bags. object\_gizmo placement instructions for other NOIR styles do not apply.

## Storage and carry limits

Defaults are 5 slots / 20 kg for the small pocket and 10 slots / 40 kg for the large pocket. Each inventory item weighs 2 kg; stored contents do not dynamically increase that listed weight.

The Library coordinates one primary bag (backpack, purse or chest bag) plus one pouch across installed NOIR products. Pouches work independently. Bags cannot be nested in other bags or containers.

## Fit and testing

Separate male/female freemode models and attachment profiles are supplied. Custom peds or clothing can require fitting adjustments.

Check both character fits, menu actions, both pockets, removal, straps cancellation and nesting prevention on a test server. Confirm that contents remain after closing and reopening each pocket.

For missing models, verify the exact resource name, complete `stream/props` contents and YTYP registration. `/noirdiag models` checks the default configured fit; it does not give items.
