# Customization

Back up the working configuration first. Change supported settings in this pack's `config.lua`, keeping its table structure.

Review compartment capacities, male/female attachment offsets, action timing and access settings. Shared UI/provider settings belong in the Library configuration. Changing a UI accent does not recolor the supplied bag model.

Weights use grams: `20000` is 20 kg and `40000` is 40 kg. Keep slot counts positive whole numbers. Before reducing capacity, empty affected storage and back up its data.

For fitting changes, edit the relevant male/female profile and test both fits with your server's clothing. Preserve bone and rotation conventions unless intentionally adapting the attachment format.

Keep the resource name, item keys, saved metadata, database table and `Config.StashPrefix` stable after players begin using bags. Renaming them can separate existing items from their saved storage.

Compare new configuration fields when updating instead of overwriting the new config with an old copy. Read the included README, INSTALL and CHANGELOG; test new and existing bags before updating a live server.
